Week 6 congress american political system

Abraham Lincoln had a few quotes during his civil war  ‘’Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.''

This quote stood out to me because having doubts in mind is an indication of how confused you are. It indicates that there is nothing clear in your mind. In case you have a doubt in your mind, which you feel like sharing and clarifying then go ahead to clarify the doubt.
The quote also gave me an insight on whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.

Understanding that the political system sometimes isn't fair but what can we do. The question isn't whether to fight but how to fight (politically speaking of course ) Its better to pick and choose your battles and remain silent for when you are quiet, you can learn a lot from one another.
